This is Why we do this at all. 1 we love the dogs and puppies 2 Enjoy the Grooming and Showing 3 To get Show prospects to show over the next years 4 To educate and share my love of the breed 5 To put two animals with features we like and pedigrees that complement each other and Blend them into a beautiful puppy 6 Improving on the quality of the poms we have ( Why older Poms need to be placed ) How I breed : Making educated choice of who to breed to who based on Confirmation and Pedigrees 1 Natural/ 2 Help/No Help How I whelp : With careful attention to the Bitch I allow her to run her natural path. 1 Whelping pen 2 Watching for distress 3 C section Call in advance 4 Cord cutting and puppy clean up Bitch and puppy care : Till Weaning , Cleanliness is a must !!! Through out the whole process, Do not allow any one to touch the puppies without using germicide. 1 Remains in Whelping pen/ with sides 2 heating pad 3 Weights on puppy 4 watch mother for infection 5 Crying is a distressed puppy 6 eyes open 7 3 week mash 8 Rely on your Vet !!
